Your gift can do so much
Here’s what your gift could provide for a child looking forward to going back to school this autumn:
£10 could buy pens, a pencil case, and other useful stationery supplies.
£25 could buy a smart new backpack, lunch box and water bottle.
£40 could buy a pair of sturdy leather school shoes for growing feet.
£75 could buy essential PE kit including t-shirts, joggers, and trainers.
£100 could buy two sets of polo shirts and trousers or skirts, a jumper, and jacket.
Sofia’s story
Our work has been indirectly benefiting the children of our service users for a number of years now. One of the women that recently moved into one of our family homes with her two children explained how Ella’s is helping her.
‘For me, Ella’s is a very big help for me as a mother. I don’t know what I would have done without this help. They’ve helped me find counselling, which I really needed. This has helped me process things that happened to me in the past. It also helped me to become a stronger person, and so a better mother.’

She recently joined the annual beach trip together with the other women we work with and was delighted to be able to take a much needed break to the seaside together with her children.
‘I want to say a big thank you to you …. for everything you’ve done for us in the past and present, thank you for always stepping in whenever we need you, I haven’t be able to do anything fun with my kids since the summer holiday start not because I don’t have time but because I can’t afford it, taking us out yesterday was fun and I’m happy to see my kids happy, thank you always I won’t take all this for granted.’
