Accommodation Caseworker
We are looking for a committed individual with strong experience of working with vulnerable women to provide essential, tailored casework support for residents living in Ella’s’ safe house accommodation. You’ll need to be caring and professional, passionate about the vision and mission of Ella’s, and able to maintain and develop strong partnerships with other community organisations and groups, both locally within boroughs and London-wide.
Job Location: Aldgate, London (with travel across Greater London)
Salary: £29,364 - £32,330
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Deadline: 9:00am on Friday 27 February

Volunteering
We’re grateful to have some amazing volunteers who make a huge contribution to our work with survivors, both on the frontline and behind the scenes. We also accept university students on placement during courses such as psychology and social work.

ROLE: Volunteer Accounting Support
Ella’s is seeking an experienced finance professional to provide volunteer accounting support, helping to ensure strong financial control and excellent compliance in preparation for audit. This role plays a key part in maintaining clear oversight of Ella’s financial position, identifying risks early, and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a good understanding of charity finance, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.

ROLE: Volunteer Finance Administrator
Ella’s is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable volunteer to support the day-to-day administration of our finance function. This role helps ensure our financial processes run smoothly and provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in charity finance within a small, dynamic, and ambitious organisation.
The ideal candidate will be organised, comfortable working with numbers, confident using spreadsheets, and able to manage tasks independently once trained. This role is well suited to someone looking to build practical finance or administration experience in the charity sector.

ROLE: COMMUNITY SESSION LEADER
We run a range of one-off and regular workshops and activities for the women we work with, to help them build knowledge, skills and confidence, keep active or just have fun. These happen in person as well as online, and range from yoga and cookery through to CV writing and job interview practice. If you have a particular skill to share and would like to explore the possibility of facilitating a session, please get in touch. Please be aware, all Ella’s volunteers will be asked to go through a DBS check.
