Assistant service manager

We’re recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager to provide crucial support to enable our life changing service for women who have survived trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence. The role will provide support to the Service Manager, line management to volunteers and high quality casework support to survivors living in our safe house accommodation. The postholder will need to demonstrate a person-centred approach to ensure the provision of an excellent aftercare service for survivors.

children and family worker

We are looking for an experienced Children and Family Worker to support survivors of trafficking and other forms of violence who are parents, and their children. You will play a crucial part in helping women develop their capacity and parenting skills, both practically and emotionally, and enabling them and their children to live safe and happy lives.

Philanthropy and corporate engagement lead

We’re recruiting for a Philanthropy and Corporate Engagement Lead to play a vital role in the growth and development of our work with women who have survived trafficking and exploitation. Ella’s has grown significantly in recent years, and this role is crucial to both sustaining and increasing that growth. If you feel motivated by this role and have the skills and experience to fulfil it to a high standard, we would love to hear from you.

£30,151 - £38,296 pro rata (depending on experience)

Volunteering

We’re grateful to have some amazing volunteers who make a huge contribution to our work with survivors, both on the frontline and behind the scenes. We also accept university students on placement during courses such as psychology and social work.

ROLE: COMMUNITY SESSION LEADER

We run a range of one-off and regular workshops and activities for the women we work with, to help them build knowledge, skills and confidence, keep active or just have fun. These happen online as well as in person (covid allowing), and range from yoga and cookery through to CV writing and job interview practice. If you have a particular skill to share and would like to explore the possibility of facilitating a session, please get in touch. Please be aware, all Ella’s volunteers will be asked to go through a DBS check.
