A night to remember

Our Gala Dinner was an incredible evening of coming together in solidarity with survivors of trafficking and the women in our community.

Welcome

The evening began with canapés and a drinks reception, before guests were welcomed into the ballroom of the Andaz Hyatt Hotel. The space was beautifully decorated by one of the women living in our safe houses, whose talent and floristry brought the venue to life.

Members of our survivor panel were the first to take to the stage. They shared poems reflecting their journeys of overcoming past experiences. Together, they spoke about finding their voice and the importance of community in the recovery process.

Meal with a purpose

The evening continued with a three-course meal, followed by a lively auction and raffle. To close the evening, we were lucky enough to enjoy an exclusive musical performance by STORRY. We continue to hear from guests how inspired and moved they were by her set!

We would like to thank all the survivors who bravely shared their stories, as well as to our generous hosts at the Andaz Hyatt Hotel and all the partners and facilitators who made the event possible. Across the night, we raised an incredible £20,000, enabling us to provide safety, care, and support to more women who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation.

A night filled with hope

At this year’s Gala, it felt more important than ever to create a night filled with hope and solidarity. In today’s climate, it can be so easy to feel helpless, with high-profile cases highlighting just how difficult it can be to seek justice and hold abusers to account when power and influence are at play.

Events like this serve as a powerful reminder of why collective support and action remain so important.
